She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Knowles and Virginia Knowles (Farrow); and her sister Joyce Shrum. She is survived by: her husband Clarence W. Ashcraft; her children, William D. Ashcraft (Lynnie) of Orcas Island, Jon Ashcraft of Danville and Kathleen Ashcraft (Marie Marek) of Mount Vernon; her sister Susan Barnhart (Kenneth) of Weslaco, Texas; her grandchildren, Kenny Goode, Jonathan Ashcraft, Pistol and Murphy; and her pets, Dash, Chili, Henry and Zoey.
Memorials may be made in Janet's honor to the Memory and Aging Project at Washington University in Saint Louis.
