Vernon; his children, Christian Carter of Bonnie, Maquel Brown (Andrew) of Mt. Vernon and JohnLuke Carter of Mt. Vernon; his grandson Carter Brown; his siblings, Lettie Johnson (Kenny) of Mt. Vernon and Hubert Carter of Mt. Vernon; his nieces, Karissa Mooney (Ryan), Alicia Capps (Chris), Jessica Carter, Katelyn Carter and Heather Carter; and his nephew Dillon Johnson.
