He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Laughmiller and Coral Lee Laughmiller (Scott-Laughmiller); his wife Necee Smith; his sister Anna Langenberg (Laughmiller-Mezo); his brother-in-law Mike Speidel; and his stepfather Ed Schreck.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marshal Laughmiller (Dorothy), Lila Speidel and Nina Dycus (Rob); his stepmother Mary Laughmiller; his stepsiblings, David, Ken Byrum, Sandy Drennen and Percilla Artis; and his pets, Judy, Striker and Stinky. He is also survived by nine nieces; one nephew; many great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
