He was predeceased by: his parents, William Aitken and Jane Aitken (Day); his great-nephew William Gordon; and his pet Benji. He is survived by: his siblings, Steve Aitken (Janis) of Troy, Janet Maibach (Tom) of Clermont, Bob Aitken of Maryville and Mary Moore (Lee) of Dix, Illinois; and his nieces and nephews, Janna Gordon (Joe), Chris Castner (Lore), Amy Whistler, Christy Jacinto (Rufino) and Nick Jones. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins.
Memorials may be made in Jim's honor to Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the animal shelter/rescue of the donor's choice.
