Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jacqlyn M Sharp of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 74, on January 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Ray and Mildred Risley (Houser); and her sisters, Joyce Brumitt (David) and Janet Lewis (Gary). She is survived by: her spouse Deon Sharp; her son Justin Riley (Melanie); her grandchildren, Allie Riley, Cassandra LaMar (Josh) and Brendon Schettler; her great grandchild Ryatt LaMar; and her caregivers, Jackie, Yolanda, Monica, Donna and Samantha. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2400 Broadway St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
Memorials may be made in Jackie's honor to the American Stroke Association.
