Jack C. Richey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2020, at the age of 85, Jack C. Richey of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Richey and Vermadale Richey (Pigg); his daughter Debbie Richey; his great grandchild Tanner Whobrey; and his siblings, Jerry Richey and Carol Sue Thompson.
He is survived by: his former wife Joann Richey (Marquis); his wife Betty Stilley Richey (Phelps); his children, John Richey of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Marti A Schultz (Johnathan) of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Kaylie Schultz of South Carolina, Kelsey Kirk (William) of South Carolina and Jason Richey (Rachele) of Michigan; his stepchildren, Mike Denton of Houston, Texas and Susan Oglesby of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Patricia Richey. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Jack's honor to the American Heart Association.
