She was predeceased by: her parents, William Floyd and Mary Louise Reeves (Witzel); her spouse Merritt Green; her son Donald "Bud" Green; and her brother Bill Reeves.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann Farthing (Ken) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Jeff McDaniel (Brenda), Tracie Downey (Bob) of Mount Vernon, Krystal Lovett of Kentucky and Brian Green (Sandra) of Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Michelle Hampton (Chad), Tara Abanatha, Robbie Downey (Ashley), Zackary Abanatha (Jadyn) and Scott McDaniel; her great great grandchildren, Skylar Hampton, Hannah Hampton, Ava Hampton, Thomas Downey, Navaeh Baker, Baylie Baker and Gaby Gist; her daughter-in-law Pat Green of Tennessee; her sister-in-law Joan Reeves of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and her cousin Lyle Witzel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Irene's honor to Park Avenue Baptist Church, Meals on Wheels, and SSM Hospice.
