Imogene Phelps Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Phelps (Mount Vernon, Illinois), who passed away on May 20, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Minor and Lena Elizabeth Minor (Boyd); and her siblings, Marvin Minor, Bert Minor, Glenn Minor, Roy Minor, Maurice Minor, Carl "Abe" Minor, Beulah Samson, Edith Deem, Ruth Jackson and Beatrice Gnevo.

She is survived by: her children, Stanley Phelps (Susan) of Fairfield, Rita Williams (Roger) of Bonnie and Cheryl Tisdale (Fred) of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Traci Batson (Jason) of Glen Carbon, Alison Storm (Brandon) of Edwardsville, Kristen Cherry (Matt) of Nolensville, Amber Schweda (Tony) of Bonnie, Alan Phelps of Davenport, Bryan Tisdale (Gennifer) of Mount Vernon, Tegan Gray (Tyler) of Bluford, Carey Warren (Kandi) of Kenosha, Lesley Tuton (Tom) of Shorewood and Matthew Warren (Claire) of Glen Carbon; and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Phelps. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Imogene's honor to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
