With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ida Sue Robinson (Mount Vernon, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Howard S. Flota and Beatrice Elizabeth Flota (Skinner); and her brother Bobby Alfred Flota. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Robinson; her children, Stephanie Sue Post (Mike) of Newburgh, Indiana, Teresa Marie Hahn (Karl) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Ronald "Robby" W. Robinson Jr. (Celeste); her grandchildren, Ashley Corbetta (Brennon), Klayton Hahn (Kayla), Kaleb, Karson, Justin, Joshua (Regan), Jacob, Joel Robinson, Chelsey Browning (Taylor) and Ciara Richardson (Kyndel); and her great grandchildren, Luca Corbetta, Madelyn Hahn, Urijah, Zada, Xander, Judah, Leon Robinson, Crimson, Ollivander Browning, Camden and Kayson Osborn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newell Funeral Home (601 S 42nd St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Ida 's honor to Ash Bash Art & Music Festival to assist local cancer patients and Siteman Cancer Center.
