He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gowler and Helen Gowler (Scott). He is survived by: his former spouse Jean Gowler (Jones); his wife Betty Gowler (McKitrick); his children, Karen Morgan (Bill) of Huntsville and Dusty Gowler (Brenda) of Texico, Illinois; his grandchildren, Dr. Chris Morgan (Shelley) of East Highland, Dr. Todd Morgan (Jennifer) of Huntsville, Derek Gowler (Gracey) of San Antonio and Dustin Gowler (Sarah) of Opdyke, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Tyler Morgan, Carson Morgan, Chelsey Morgan, Sylas Gowler and Evans Gowler; his stepchildren, Carla Corbin of Missouri and Connor Thornhill (Amy) of Ohio; his stepgranddaughters, Amber, Brandy and Candace; his sister Marjorie German (George) of Mount Vernon; his sister-in-law Norma Fairchild of Mount Vernon; his cousin Zola Hutchison of Mount Vernon; his niece Debbie Terry; and also Linda Waller of Mount Vernon.
