Homer W. McGehee Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Homer W. McGehee of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on January 16, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalon McGehee and Inez McGehee (Morgan); his spouse Carthel McGehee; his grandson Shawn Willard; his sisters, Thelma Dare and LaVera Earls; his sister-in-law Julie McGehee; and his children-in-law, Marilyn McGehee and Rod Willard.
He is survived by: his children, Ron McGehee of Belle Rive, Deloris Taylor (Dean) of Mount Vernon and Beverly Willard of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Timothy McGehee, Ronda Wilson, Donna Reed, Rick Pate and Christopher Willard; his great grandchildren, Brooke Wilson and Sierra Waller; his great great grandchildren, Jordyn Chapman, Jaci Chapman and Dash Waller; and his brother Gleason McGehee of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
