He was predeceased by: his mothers, Velma Wilson Sr. (Beckman) and Barbara Wilson (Morgan); and his siblings, Everett Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, David Wilson, Joyce Wilson, Imogene Pilson, Mildred Russell, Wanda Smith and Barbara Fullerton.
He is survived by: his sons, Bradley Wilson (Eileen) of Mount Vernon and Carl E. Wilson (Paula) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his granddaughters, Amanda F. Day (Darrell) of Mount Vernon, Katie Williams (Josh) of Mount Vernon and Kayla Niederhofer (Cody) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Aralynn Day, Lorelai Day, Maggie Williams, Annie Williams and Sadie Niederhofer; and his siblings, James Clyde Wilson (Margie) of Louisiana, Judy Williams (Darrell) of Washington, Janice Laur (David) of Waltonville and Verla Johnson (Jack) of Ina, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Herman's honor to South Hickory Hill Cemetery.
