It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Duane Campbell of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Campbell and Mabel Campbell (Wheeler); and his siblings, Robert Campbell, Charles Campbell, Donald Campbell and Joan McQueen.
He is survived by: his wife Mae Campbell (Hall); his sons, Larry Campbell (Joy) of Lebanon, Jeff Campbell (Jackie) of Opdyke and Steve Campbell (Angie) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Shelby Barber (Trent) of Mount Vernon, Derek Campbell (Michaela Shawl) of Clinton, Jairus Campbell of Lebanon, Ryan Campbell (Hannah Carbonaro) of Mount Vernon and Allaina Webb of Opdyke, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Beckett Barber and Brooks Barber; and his sisters, Janet Goins (Leland) of Hiram, Georgia and Thelma Becker of Minooka, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Herbert's honor to Casey Avenue Baptist Church.
