It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold F. Shelton (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Opdyke, Illinois, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David "Jack" Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Delores "Bunnie" Shelton (Delaney); his daughters, DeLinda Hungate (Darrel) of Dix, Debra Lorett (Dan) of Saint Louis, Kathy Shelton (Jeff Keen) of Mount Vernon and Crystal Elliston (Jared) of Waltonville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Joshua Matthews (Amanda), Amanda Rohr, Zackery Brumley (Lindsay), Danielle Brumley, Jamey Elliston and Dacota Lorett (Briana); his great grandchildren, Kyron, Travis, Zoey, Coraline, Brigid and Lynnox; and his brother George "Joker" Shelton of Opdyke, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
