She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Turner and Pearl Turner (Jenkins); her husband James "Bill" Whitfield; her sons, Larry and Michael Whitfield; her siblings, Harold, Frank, Curtis Turner, Nellie Cox and Penny Hamblin; her grandsons, Michael Turner and Jeremy Hampton; and her great grandchild Katlyn Whitfield.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Whitfield (Darla), Bruce Whitfield (Lou Ann), Dianna Furstner (Greg), Jeri Hobson and Brenda Goodman; her stepson John Newcom (Valerie); and her brother Herman Turner. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Due to the national health crisis face masks are required and social distancing should be maintained.
Flowers and/or memorial donations to Faith Felllowship Church or to St. Jude's Children Hospital are equally welcome.
