He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Simon and Mary Catherine Federici (Missio); and his sister Eda Sciacqua. He is survived by: his wife Loretta "Molly" Marie Federici (Shapiro); his children, Toni Cusumano (Jeff) of Mt. Vernon, Mary Burgan (Hal) of Mt. Vernon, Mia Barker (Chris) of Mt. Vernon and Michael Federici of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Anthony Burgan, Ava Barker, Anderson Barker, Sophia Cusumano, Molly Federici and Maggie Federici; and his sister Mary Lou Pitcher (Tom) of Gig Harbor, Washington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Gino's honor to Saint Mary's School, Mt. Vernon Township High School, or Lifeboat Alliance.
