She was predeceased by: her spouse Hodley Osborne; her siblings, Roberta Thornsberry, Aileen Thornsberry, Otha Mae Thornsberry, Rosemarie Hall, James Edward Brock and Charles William Brock; her grandson Christopher Chizk; and her daughter-in-law Judy Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, Nick Osborne (Cindy) of Mount Vernon, Danny Osborne of Murray and Libby White (Doug) of Gulfport, Mississippi; her siblings, Mary Adkins of Tucker, Georgia Beaty and Geneva Beaty (Gaines) of Blairsville, Georgia; her siblings-in-law, Marvin Osborne, Elizabeth Conway, Jackie McCoy and Ethel Brock; and her grandchildren, Keith Osborne (Elizabeth, Samantha Osborne), Terri, Brian Atchison (Cara, Jennifer Atchison), Dan, Ashley Osborne, Chad Osborne (Veronica, Angie Osborne), Roger, Alecia Stepler (Matt, Shane Osborne), Teala, Misty Chizk (Scott) and Julie Holland (Boe). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Geraldine's honor to the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or the Osborne Family Literacy Center.
