He is survived by: his wife Carol Suzanne Burke; his children, George Burke of Dyer, Indiana, Heidi White of Florida and Kristene Burke (Stephanie) of Valparaiso, Indiana; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Lashbrook of Hammond, Steven Lashbrook (Sandie) of Highland, Indiana, Laura Roman (Louis) of Hammond and Sandra Johnson (Todd) of Crown Point, Indiana; and his friends, Larry and Flo Taylor. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
