He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann Germann (Gowler); his children, Randy Germann (Kathy) of Port Charlotte, Debbie Terry (Marty) of Mount Vernon, Sonya Germann of Marion and Scott Germann (Nestora) of Midland, Texas; his grandchildren, James Wilson (Keegan) of Camden, Ashton Orrell (John) of Mount Vernon, Michele Sena (Josh) of Midland, Brian Heinemann of Midland and Michael Heinemann of Midland; his great grandchildren, Ryggs, Ryker, Emilia, Henry, Harrison, Elaina, Mallory, Brooklynn, Ambria, Noah, Chloe, Jonah, Amaya and Arianna; his sisters, Vera Place of Woodlawn and Viola Weatherford of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Jean Germann of Mount Vernon and Rita Germann Veatch of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and his friends, Julie Strauss, Janet Kniffen and Andy Germann.

Memorials may be made in George's honor to Residential Hospice or Logan Street Baptist Church.
