She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie K. Fleener and Martha Fleener (Rapp); and her siblings, Irene Fleener, Betty Tucker and Dalton Fleener.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil J. Shirley; her children, Robert E. Shirley (Rebekah), Jeanne Ann Skinner of Ewing and Angela Kay McDowell (Guy Ricky); her grandsons, Tony Skinner (Candace) of Roanoke and Michael McDowell (Amanda) of Linthicum; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan, Zachary McDowell, Brianna Cochran, Jade, Ethan Skinner, Mikayla McDowell, Paisley Erin Brieseacher, Hank Bevis, Austyn Bevis, Waylon Brieseacher and Staley Ann Brieseacher; and her brother-in-law Dennis Shirley (Helen) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Panther Fork Missionary Baptist Church.
