He was predeceased by: his children, Gaylene Smothers and Gary Osborn. He is survived by: his spouse Irene Johnston (Osborn); his siblings, Bill Johnston (Helen) of Mount Vernon, Larry Johnston (Laura) of Mount Vernon and Linda Geary (Bob); and his close friends, Kitty Graham of Mount Vernon, Bob Swan and Lisa Swan of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
