He is survived by: his sons, David (Cheri), Jonathan (Sara) and Michael (Courtney); his grandchildren, Lillian, Harrison, Caroline, Jonathan, Henry, Andrew and Katherine; and his former wife Sharon Samford.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any in memoriam acknowledgements be made to Central Christian Church or Sayre Christian Village in Lexington.
