He was predeceased by: his son Charles David Steury; his mother Garnet Beaulieu Steury; his father-in-law Richard Martin; his brother Edgar; and his siblings-in-law, Diana Steury and Randy Eblin.
He is survived by: his father Charles Steury (Shirley) of Fairfield, Illlinois; his mother-in-law Carol Martin of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his sons, David Pitman (Shawnee) of Valparaiso and Richard Harper of Geff, Illinois; his siblings, Mark Steury (Jonnie) of Geff, Earl Steury (Katie Daniel), Karl Steury and Tina Koker (Robert) of Fairfield, Illinois; his sisters-in-law, Gayle Eblin of Mount Vernon, Stefani Martin (Jan Williams) of Wilmington and Barbara of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Cheyanne Pitman, Sidney Harper, Sage Williamson, Brendan Pitman and Seth Williamson; his friend Caroll Williams of Fairfield, Illinois; and his close friend Bruizer. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
