Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gary Allen Lipe of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 74, on June 11, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Lipe and Erma Madge Lipe (Tucker); his grandmother Viola Lipe (Childers); and his brother Rodney J. Lipe. He is survived by: his wife Connie L. Lipe (Hicks) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his child K. W. Lipe (Christina) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandson Brian M. Williams of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his brother Clyde Richard "Dick" Lipe (Robbie) of Elk City, Oklahoma; and his nephews, Stephen Lipe (Barbara) of Muskogee and Russell Lipe (Tonya) of Elk City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by great-niece and great-nephew; as well as several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gary's honor to Horses for Heroes.
