It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Tomlinson of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis Tomlinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Tomlinson and Emma Louise Tomlinson (Hellenberg); his daughter Melissa Jayne; and his brother Jerry Tomlinson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise (Bulla); his daughters, Michele Gross (Charlie) and Cheryll Bealmear (Tom); his grandchildren, Chase Gross and Ashlyn Bealmear; his brothers, Ronald and Steve Tomlinson; his friends, Ora Maddix and Bobby Thompson; and his niece JoAnna Tomlinson Huff. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
Due to the national health crisis, mask must be worn inside the funeral home and social distancing should be maintained.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Owen Dunn American Legion Post #5 Honor Guard or Shriner Children's Hospital.
