He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marshall Brookman and Mildred Louise Cullins (Harlow); his sister Lisa Eileen Brookman; his stepbrother Edward Cullin; and his nephew Jason Miller.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Kay Williams; his children, Mikah Noell Salonies (Craig) of Wentzville, Missouri and Deric Thorlun Brookman (Trina) of Saint Louis, Missouri; his stepdaughters, Heather Nicole Balu (Brett) of Las Vegas and Coral Brie Hilliard of Belle Rive, Illinois; his grandchildren, Karsen Salonies, Will Salonies, Lucas Balu, Karlie Hilliard and Asher Hughey; his sisters, Kathy Nicol (Kevin) of San Angelo, Glenda Carr of Elizabethton and Annetta Anderson of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and his close friend Kaaren Duffy O'Connor of Dublin, Ireland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made in Floyd's honor to Saint Mary School to support the fine arts.
