It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Nellie Summers (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Belle Rive, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chandler Schrum and Ruth Schrum; her spouse Dallas Billy Summers; her son Dallas Summers; her grandson Dallas Anthony Summers; and her siblings, Pete, Cecil, Benny, Bob, Iva Mae, Eva, Onieda and Alice.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Summers of Irvington, Rickey Summers (Rhonda) of Opdyke, Illinois, Cindy Taylor (John) of Centralia and Robin Peek (Stanley) of Rosamond, California; and her grandchildren, Tonya Dey, Dustin Summers, Lindsi Summers, Stephanie Skurat, Crystal Brant, Shanda McMillan, Ryan Summers, Michelle Summers and Raven Ament. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
