It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fay Bright Rue (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Danville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rochester and Alice Sands Montgomery Bright; her husband Edward Evans Rue (Bud); and her nephew Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Fayette Rue Schmutzler (Ken) of Golden, Jonathan "Rocky" Rue (Wendy) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Georganne Rue Williams (Michael) of Panama City, Florida; her brother Thomas "Bud" Bright of Bendor Farm; her grandchildren, James Witten, Jennifer Witten, Jill Maddox (Herb), Sandra McGuire, Julia Delgado (Jessi), Lillian Manno (James), Lauren Rich (Jerry), Michelle Kohne (Curtis) and Hunter Rue (Erin); her nephews, Mitch, George, David Rue and John Bright; her niece Cynthia Chitwood; and her great-niece Alice Montgomery Adams. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
