She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bushong and Lula Bushong (Newbury); her former husband Roy Clarence Nordin; her close friend David Capps; and her siblings, Opal, Leia, Hazel, Ruth, Raymond, Kenneth, Arthur, Virgil, Joseph and William.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruth Ann (Ron Krueger) and Carolyn Nordin Bushong (Alan Errickson); her grandson Brett Krueger; her great grandchild Cameron Krueger; and her nieces and nephews, Jeanne Hale, Ray Bushong (Waltonville), Glenda Johnson, Mike Nordin and David Nordin of Mt. Vernon.
Hospice was a blessing to Evelyn and her family at the end of her life in North Carolina and the family suggests that memorials may be made to Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home or mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
