Evelyn Joyce Powers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Joyce Powers in Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Kuttawa, Kentucky, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leeper Lamb and Isabelle Lamb; her husband Karl Powers; her brothers, Charles Lamb and Jerry Lamb; her siblings-in-law, Murrel Rickman, Ray Pratt, Dale Gibson and Joan Lamb; her parents-in-law, J. Marvin and Lucille Powers; and her siblings-in-law, Jean and Thomas "Pookey" Pentecost.

She is survived by: her children, Tiffany Ford (Kevin) of Mount Vernon, Amanda "Luci" Welling of Mount Vernon and Timothy Powers of Texico, Illinois; her grandchildren, Blake Ford of Mount Vernon, Brittany Welling of Mount Vernon, Jake Powers and Paige Powers; her stepgranddaughters, Charissa Ng of Macau and Karita Ford of Quantico, Virginia; her great grandchild Brynlee Sanders of Mount Vernon; her siblings, Dorothy Bingham (Russell) of Kuttawa, Marolyn Gibson of Louisville, Barbara Stephenson of Bowling Green, Sharon Pratt of Brentwood, Linda Jo Lamb of Nashville, Tennessee, Bob Lamb (Barbara) of Brentwood and Mike Lamb of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; her siblings-in-law, Wanda and Chuck Cohoon of Marion, Illinois; and also Angie Powers of Texico, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
