She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Mitchell and Hettie Lurene Mitchell (Barringer); her husband Wilbur Hawkins; her children, Robert Hawkins, Darlene Melton, Delores Jordan and Loretta Hawkins; and her siblings, Fred Mitchell, Frank Mitchell and Celia Hayes. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; twenty great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Eva's honor to Bethel Memorial Cemetery.
