It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Charlene De'Jesus of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Dix, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Bateman and Opal Bateman; her former husband William Irvin Morgan; her husband Freddy De'Jesus; her daughter Regina Fields; and her stepson James Fields.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Fields of Mount Vernon and William Fields of Dix, Illinois; her grandchildren, William Fields, Jr. (Sonya), Amy Meeks, Corina Warren (Chris) and Richard William Taylor; her great grandchildren, Marc Meeks, Natalie Warren, Liam Avery Fields and Irie Fields; and her stepchildren, Mildred Voss and Robert Fields. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
