She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. McCoy and Gladys E. McCoy (Clark); her husband Ben George Fryar; her son Bennie George Fryar; and her siblings, Claire McCoy Lewis, John Leon McCoy, William McCoy and George McCoy.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Fryar Rohlfs (Edward); her daughter-in-law Janet Filberth Fryar; her grandchildren, Gwen Lee (Paul), Carrie Williams (Todd), Melissa Rohlfs Koger (Nick), Matthew Rohlfs (Janelle) and Peter Rohlfs (Clare); her nephew Roland (Brenda Lewis); and her niece Debi McCoy. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Emma's honor to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter or to Casey Avenue Baptist Church.
