Elma Jean Gentry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elma Jean Gentry of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Newsome Hudgens and Lena Hudgens (Pritchett); her husband William E. Gentry; and her siblings, Robert Hudgens, Virgil Eugene Hudgens, Lorene Moore and Dorothy Hudgens.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Blue and Bob Gentry (Phaedra) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Rob (Jodi), Ryan (Jessica), Rick (Lacey), Nick (Shanna), Pharrah Bradford, Josh (Moriah) and Case Gentry. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
