It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dwight C. Stewart of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stewart and Clara Stewart; and his siblings, Kenny, Doris England and Glenda Lunn.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Sue Smith; his sons, Wade (Lauren Stewart) and Paul (Patty Stewart); his grandchildren, Tyler Stewart of LaGrange, John Stewart of Monroe, Matthew Stewart of Durham, Scott Stewart of Bella Vista and Abigail Stewart of Louisville, Kentucky.; and his siblings, Kay Puckett (Mick) of Mount Vernon and David of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or the South Hickory Hill Cemetery Foundation.
