It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwayne Deaton (Mount Vernon, Illinois), born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Almos Lloyd and Jewell Deaton (Sprage); his wife Patsy D. Deaton (VanDorin); and his brothers, Gene Deaton and Harold Deaton.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Deaton (Tina) of Marion and Delaina Katubig (John) of Brentwood, Missouri; his stepson Rocky Bennyhoff of Saint Peter, Illinois; and his sister Ruth Malone of Marion, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
