We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Douglas Owens of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Donna Owens and Bonnie Smith. He is survived by: his parents, James "Jim" Owens and Connie Owens (Smith); his siblings, Jamie Owens of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Matt Owens (Mallorie) of Cary; his grandfather C. Howard Smith of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his nieces and nephews, Peyton, Kylon, Remy, Jayslon, Jude, Gracyn, Reece, Parson and Faith; and his cousin Mikey Smith. He is also survived by several uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made in Douglas' honor to Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
