He was predeceased by: his parents, Bart Eblen and Nancy Eblen (Smiley); and his sisters, Valerie Ratliff and Tracy Webb. He is survived by: his wife Tanya Eblen (Jones); his children, Amanda Sears (Shawn) of Bluford, Ashleigh Russell (Chad) of Salem and Ryan Eblen (Amanda) of Effingham, Illinois; his grandchildren, Shae Sears and Sloan Sears; his great grandchildren, Brendan Cross, Lucas Cross, Amelia Cross, Eden Russell, Alexander Russell, Cory Russell, Kameron Russell, Tabitha Eblen and Eleanora Eblen; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Sofiah Russell.

Memorials may be made in Doug's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
