She was predeceased by: her father Meyers Dawson; her husband Ronald Keith McGuire; her daughter Lisa Stroud; and her sister Helen Marie White. She is survived by: her former spouse Johnie Stroud; her children, Brian Keith McGuire of Mount Vernon, Kathy Eisenreich (Rob) of North Aurora and Terry Stroud (Lily) of Yorkville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Nicole Gillham (Jeff), Timothy Allen (Shayla), Jordan Rogers (Sam), Serenity Anderson (Mitchell), Aaron McGuire and Bailey Stroud; and her sister MaryAnn Defoy (Don). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Doris' honor to the American Cancer Society.
