It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna K. Hammer of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Spalding, Nebraska, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Strehle and Mary Strehle (Gorny). She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" Hammer; her children, Michael Richard Hammer of Mount Vernon and Mickelyn Marie Smalley of Mount Vernon; and her brother Richard Strehle of Grand Island, Nebraska. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
