Donna Grace Walton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Grace Walton of Mount Vernon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarabelle Gapinski (Hubert) and John Gapinski; her niece Amanda Gapinski; her parents-in-law, Harold and Hazel Walton; and her sister-in-law Patricia Miller (Walton).
She is survived by: her husband Richard Walton; her sons, Brett Walton (Meleah) of Walnut Hill and Zack Walton (Cindy) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Madison Walton-Franklin (Eddie) of Portland, Will Walton of Madison, Matt Walton (Cassidy) of Dix, Tanner Walton of Charleston and Maggie Walton of Jackson, Missouri.; and her siblings, David Gapinski, Jim Gapinski (Rose), John Gapinski (Mary), Joe Gapinski (Julie), Danny Gapinski (Christina), Joy Jaraczewski (Ken) and Tim Gapinski (Sherri).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Osborn Funeral Home (322 N Main St, Dix, IL 62830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Logan Street Baptist Church (800 N 42nd St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
Memorial gifts may be made to Logan Street Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home on the night of visitation and by mail to the Osborn Funeral Home, P.O. Box 130, Dix, Illinois 62830.
