He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cole and Doris Cole (Throgmorton); his granddaughter Emma Cole; his brothers-in-law, David Hoffman, Wendell Hayes and Louie Raffa; his parents-in-law, Edna Hoffman Conner, Theodore Hoffman and Leo Conner; his great grandchild David LePelley; his nephews, Bruce Henry and Doug Henry; his niece Stephanie Rivera; and his sister-in-law Velma Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Cole (Hoffman); his children, Rick Cole, Mitch Cole (Stacy) and Lisa Whisenhunt (Brian); his grandchildren, Risa Ann Kunzmann, Erin Marie Cole, Valerie Wakefield (Rich Meyer), Sarah Gurba (Joe), Catherine LePelley (Chris), Grace Cole, Ethan Cole (Carolyn), Faith Cole and Michael Whisenhunt; his stepgrandchildren, Kaelin Pierce (Adam) and Brennan Cox; his sisters, Joyce and Janette; and his siblings-in-law, Max Hoffman (Kathleen) of Channahon, Illinois and Pattie Raffa. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Donald's honor to First Free Will Baptist Church and will be accepted at Hughey Funeral Home.
