He was predeceased by: his father Everett Turner; his wife Charlotte Turner (Threatt); his stepfather Carl Dirschauer; his uncles, Roland Longcor and George Longcor; his aunt Maxine Allman; his great-niece Ashley Akin; and his nephew Levi Hughey.
He is survived by: his children, Randy E. Turner of Mount Vernon and Robin E. Turner of Mount Vernon; his granddaughters, Amanda Karrick (Kenneth) of Mount Vernon and Nichole Williams (Matt) of Mount Vernon; his great grandchildren, Emily Hocking (Chad Edwards) of Jacksonville, Matthew Hocking of Mount Vernon, Cassy Hocking of Mount Vernon, Justin Karrick of Mount Vernon and Sullivan Williams of Mount Vernon; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Chaz Karrick of Sandoval, Braden Williams of Dix, Illinois and Camden Williams of Dix, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Donald's honor to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
