She was predeceased by: her father Donald Sendelbach; her sister Joyce Kramm; and her grandparents, Geraldine and Glenn "Mutt" Wilson. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Sendelbach (Adams); her husband Roger Scherer; her daughters, Danara Steckelberg (Chris) of Austin, Dariane Rose (Aaron Wade, Jr.) of Los Angeles, California, Jaymi Johnson (Adam) of Magnolia and Ashley Scherer of Katy, Texas; her grandchildren, Daegan, Ziraea, Havana Steckelberg, Ayden Jaradi, Emma, Finn Johnson, Elijah and Isaiah Garza; and her siblings, Michael R. Sendelbach of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Vickie Hiatt (Doug) of Mount Vernon and Sandra Sendelbach (Stacy Portney) of Maryville, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Diane's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
