He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robinson and Juanita Robinson (Whitecotton); his spouse Shirley Robinson (Newberry); his son Christopher Michael Robinson; his grandson Johnathan Cole Robinson; and his brothers, Jim Robinson, Kenny Robinson, John Robinson and Bob Robinson.

He is survived by: his children, Dawn Westerman (Marc) of Jacksonville and Mark Robinson (Brandy) of Defiance, Missouri; his grandchildren, Robert Lockwood (Natalie), Marie McKinnon (Phil), Madison Westerman, Isaak Robinson, Kelby Robinson and Ryann Robinson; his great grandchildren, Roman Finch, Paxton McKinnon and Bailey McKinnon; and his siblings, David Robinson (Linda) of Mount Vernon, Rick Robinson (Lori) of Kentucky, Steve Robinson (Trisha) of Mount Vernon and Candy Pedigo of Benton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
