Dennis Bathon Obituary

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dennis leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bathon and Emalie Bathon (Dudek); and his brother Dale Bathon. He is survived by: his wife Faye Bathon (Jones); his son Tim Bathon (Melissa) of Mount Vernon; his granddaughter Anna Bathon; and his siblings, Maurice "Joe" Bathon (Linda) of Maryville, Tennessee and Elizabeth "Betty" Wilson (Dennis) of Herrin, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1500 N Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
Memorials may be made in Dennis' honor to Boy Scout Troop 153.
