She was predeceased by: her father William Williams; her husband Charles Walter Downey; her siblings-in-law, Charlotte Cross, Stan Cross and Bob Nondorf; her niece Lisa Withrow; her grandmother Flossie Garrison; and her parents-in-law, Walter and Anna Downey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Nave (Michael) of Mount Vernon and Amy Downey-Bybee (David) of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Amber Labrie (Mack Dodig), Kerianna Nave, Nissa Nave, Elana Nave, Tessa England (Doug Rhoads), Cecilia Nave (Chance Miller) and Molley England; her great grandchildren, Malachi Labrie, Carrie Labrie, Emily Labrie, Joran Labrie, Johnovan Pisula, Aubrianna Miller, Zander Miller, Aaliyah England and Marcie Rhoads; and her siblings, Harold Douglas of Mount Vernon, Jacque Nondorf of Centralia and Linda Floyd (Don) of Opdyke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
