She was predeceased by: her parents, David M. and Deonna (Dee); and her nephew Andrew Tobin. She is survived by: her husband Brad Overbey; her children, Braxton Overbey of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Rayleigh Overbey of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her siblings, Artie Highfill of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Tammy Melvin (Johnny) of DuQuoin and Lee Ann Smith of California; her mother-in-law Elizabeth "Liz" Shewmake of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her brother-in-law Charles Overbey of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and her father-in-law Albert Overbey (Beverly) of Bonnie, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund for her children in care of Brad Overbey.
