It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lemmon (Mount Vernon, Illinois), who passed away on June 6, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Lemmon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lemmon and Helen Hutchcraft. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libbye" Harrison; his children, Sean Lemmon (Kelly Kirk) of Mount Vernon, Zachary Lemmon (Kami Moss) of McLeansboro, Illinois and Jessica Stover (Dan Chapman) of McLeansboro, Illinois; his grandchildren, Luke Stover of McLeansboro, Caden Stover of McLeansboro, Samuel Chapman of McLeansboro, Jackson Lemmon of Berea and Zachary Lemmon, Jr. of Irvine Kentucky; and his siblings, Gerald Lemmon (Theresa) of Tulllahoma, Tennessee and Sherry Moss (Larry) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of David's memory, Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
