Tate of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Dix, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Tate and Flossie Tate (Beal); his great grandchild Braden Tate; and his siblings, Robert, Charles, James Tate, Ninabelle Tate, Evelyn Staley and Mary Ann Yelverton.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Tate of Mt. Vernon; his children, Allen Tate (Michelle) of Mt. Vernon, Joanie Cooper (Alan) and Stephanie Tate of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Travis Tate (Sierra), Amanda Haley, Jeffrey Cooper (Nicole), Jeremy Tate (Nicole), Michael Cooper (Emily) and David Adam Tate; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Tate (Maddie), Jaxon Tate, Kynley Tate, Branson Tate, Elizabeth Cooper (Izzy), Iris Cooper, Isabella Tate and Allena Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
